:: DIRECTIONS

You can get directions from google here but the directions below should get you there. When you get close to the lodge it will be signposted.

-Head up North towards *Whangarei* on state highway 1, once you get to
Waipu area keep an eye out for a small place called *Oakleigh*, there is
a *Caltex* service station there.

-Take the second left after the *Caltex*, down the *Mangapai/Paparoa*
turn off.

-Drive 10 k's untill you reach a fork, take the right down *Tauraroa Rd*

-1 kilometre later you will reach a school turn left down *Omana Rd*
(look for the 'lodge' sign).

-Drive another 10 k's untill you reach the lodge's driveway on the
right, voila!

If you get really lost ask a local where the lions lodge at *Tangihua* forest park is, cellphone reception is patchy but still works.
